As a result of the rising cases of COVID-19 and the recent outbreak of the Omicron variant, countries are imposing stricter travel restrictions. The South Korean government has also announced tigher Covid restrictions.
Considering the current situation with COVID-19, the Korea University International Winter Campus(IWC) Office decided to offer all courses online only for 2021-22.
The IWC office believes that this would be the best and the safest option for students, academics and staff of IWC 2021.
Please refer to the following guidelines:
1. All courses will be offered online only.
- Courses will be offered through the Korea University's Blackboard system and Zoom.
- For those who applied for in-person courses, there will be further notice about the tuition refund policy.
2. Course Change Period
- Deadline: 10:00am, December 10, 2021, KST
- Students can changes courses by visiting the following website: Registration - Apply & Pay - View/Change Application menu.
※ There will be a regular 'Class Add & Drop' period after the course starts.
3. Dormitories will not be operated as all courses will be offered online only.
- Those who are already in Korea or have been issued an entry visa will not be able to use the university residence and therefore, must find alternative accommodation off-campus.

4. Special Benefits for 2022 ISC

최근, 오미크론 변이 발생 등 전 세계 코로나19 상황이 재차 악화됨에 따라, 각국의 출입국 제한이 강화되고 있습니다. 또한, 한국 정부도 국내 코로나19 확산세가 지속되자 봉쇄 조치를 강화한다는 정책을 발표하였습니다.
위와 같이 코로나19에 따른 방역지침 강화 등 불확실성이 높아짐에 따라 IWC Office에서는 대면 수업을 정상적으로 운영할 수 없다고 판단하였습니다.
따라서, 2021-22년 국제동계대학을 전면 온라인으로 전환합니다.
이는 학생, 교원 그리고 스탭들의 건강과 안전을 위해 불가피한 선택임을 이해하여 주시기 바랍니다.
2021-22 고려대학교 국제동계대학 대면 수업을 고대하셨을 학생분들께 죄송하다는 말씀드리며, 아래의 사항들에 대해 안내드립니다.
1. 모든 In-person 수업은 Online 방식으로 전환됩니다.- 모든 수업은 고려대학교 Blackboard 시스템 및 ZOOM 등을 활용하여 원격으로 진행됩니다.
- 기존 In-person 수업을 신청하셨던 학생들의 등록금 차액 환불에 대해서는 별도 안내 드리겠습니다.
2. 추가 수강정정 일정을 드리도록 하겠습니다- 추가 수강정정을 희망하시는 경우, 홈페이지 Registration – Apply & Pay – View/change Application 메뉴에서 직접 변경하여 주시기 바랍니다.
- 추가 수강정정 기한: ~2021. 12. 10 (금) 오전 10시까지 (KST)
※ 수업 시작 후 정규 수강정정 기간은 그대로 진행합니다.
3. 모든 수업이 온라인으로 전환됨에 따라 기숙사 운영은 하지 않습니다.
- 이미 한국에 입국하셨거나, 입국 비자를 발급받으신 분들은 한국에 입국은 가능하나, 기숙사 이용은 하실 수 없고 별도로 숙소를 구하셔야 합니다.

- 기숙사비를 납부한 모든 학생분들게 환불과 관련한 안내를 드릴 예정입니다.
4. 이번 국제동계대학을 신청한 모든 학생들에게 2022학년도 국제하계대학 할인 혜택을 드리겠습니다.
- 이번 국제동계대학을 신청한 학생들(등록, 취소 여부와 무관) 모두 내년도 국제하계대학 등록 시 할인 혜택을 드릴 예정입니다.
